Potato Breakfast Cassarole

I made this over the fourth of July,  It received such a good response from my Instagram story that I am posting it today.  I know, I am a day late posting with the holiday. Sorry about that.  I feel bad that I am posting two potatoes in a row, but Instagram asked for it so here you go.  I love this breakfast recipe because it is easy and feeds a bunch of people.  What more do you need for breakfast?  Anything you can make while still drinking your first cup of coffee is a winner in my book. Cheese Quiche

This was my son's favorite when he was little.  He use to jump up and down yelling quiche in front of the oven while it cooked.  2 cups organic whole milk (you could use a lower fat if you want) 5 eggs with omega 3 1/2 tsp. hot sauce  1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 cup shredded italian cheese mix 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese  1/4 tsp thyme (crush with fingers) 1 tsp salt  1 tsp basil  1 uncooked pie crust Directions;  place pie crust in pie dish.  Mix filling ingredients together and place in pie crust. Bake at 300 degrees for about 40 to 50 minutes.  Enjoy!!!! kids love this. Green   Shellfish Yellow  Nuts Blue   Soy Orange  Fish

Crescent Casserole

I made this up Saturday. I had some crescents still laying around from the week and need to use them up.  What baked up golden was a family hit. 8 x 8 glass baking dish three large crescents from the bakery 1 package organic cream cheese 4 ounces of 5 cheese Italian blend shredded 5 eggs from chickens with out hormones 3/4 cup of milk organic 5 dashes hot sauce 1/2 tsp basil salt to taste 1/4 tsp nutmeg Directions Tear crescents into pieces and spread around baking dish Soften cream cheese. I pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds.  Mix all the ingredients together with the cream cheese until thoroughly integrated. Pour mixture over torn crescents.  Use a fork and push the crescents  into the mixture so the soak up the liquids.  Cover baking dish with foil.  Bake in a pre heated oven at 325 for 1 hour, during the last 10 minutes remove foil so the top can turn golden. Cut into serving size squares and serve with fresh fruit.  This is a...
